HEALTHY BEETROOT SMOOTHIE – post workout meal

For days you don’t know what to whip up as a post workout meal, try this. However, I’d suggest you take it once in a while, and not on a daily basis. As some people do not find beet to be suitable for their digestive system on a regular basis.

I used my Homemade Peanut Butter recipe for this. You can substitute soy milk with regular milk in this recipe for a dairy version.

A healthy and vegan post-workout smoothie

Ingredients
  • 2 Tablespoons Beetroot Chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Soy milk, unflavoured and sugarfree Or regular milk
  • 1 Cup Cold water Or as required to adjust the consistency
  • 1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter I used my Homemade Peanut Butter
Instructions
  1. Blend the beetroot, soy milk, and peanut butter till smooth.

  2. Add water as per your requirement to adjust the smoothie's consistency.

  3. Serve. Enjoy!
