This easy apple peanut butter smoothie is one of my go-to post workout smoothies. In fact, it is a meal in itself and can keep you full for the next few hours to come.

You can add a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg to give the flavours an extra note. But I stick to the 3 basic ingredients. Which is why I refer to it as an easy smoothie – because I’m lazy and it comes to  my rescue!

To make it even healthier – I used my Homemade Peanut Butter

Easy, healthy, and fulfilling smoothie!

  • 1/2 of an apple cored
  • 1 tablespoon of peanut butter I used my Homemade Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • A pinch of cinnamon/nutmeg - optional
  • A few drops of vanilla flavouring - optional
  1. Cut the apple into smaller pieces to better accommodate the blending.
  2. Add the apple chunks, and peanut butter to the blender pot. Add half of the milk to it. Blend till it's smooth.
  3. Add the rest of the milk. Blend.
  4. Pour into a serving glass or mason jar. Add 1/2 cup of water - more or less to adjust the consistency as per your preference.
  5. Stir and serve!
  6. Enjoy.
